What's your name, please?

What brought you to Wir Sind Ohana?

Well, WirSindOhana started as a podcast for me to improve my German. This event is the evolution of that podcast so I can improve my German by talking to people in real life :)

Jokes aside, for long, I wanted to go to a Salesforce event where we can have more advanced talks rather than the beginner material that you see everywhere. We hope that we have achieved that goal in some way.

Any previous experience in organizing such an event?

Nopes! None what so ever.

How many Dreamin events did you visit yourself? Do you have a favorite? Why?

I have been to all the major Dreamin' event in mainland EU. I still haven't been to DreamOlé & CzechDreamin' which is on my To-Go places for 2025.

My favorite would be the first YeurDreamin' in Amsterdam because I shared a nice moment with Mr. Don Robbins on a bench next to canal after the speakers dinner 😄

What's your favorite trailhead character?

The one who represents Developers (Codey)

Why?

Because I am a developer at heart 😄

How does a typical workday look for you?

I usually try and break my day into 3 parts: The mornings are for creative work, so if I need to write some code or do some thinking / come-up with a concept then this is done in the morning.

Then I take my brunch break 12:00 PM (I do 16-8 intermittent fasting so my eating window is 12:00 - 20:00)

I try to keep all my meetings after lunch. So my Daily call(s) with my client)s) are at 13:00. At 15:00 I take a coffee break (my only coffee of the day). Then the late afternoon is flexible, either it's some programming or meetings or both.

These days late afternoons are reserved for all things WSO.

What are your responsibilities for WSO?

I am responsible for the location, working with sponsors, managing back-office / paperwork and ensuring you get a warm coffee in the morning and a cold beer in the evening.

Any tips for visitors?

If you wanna make a day-trip, can highly recommend a boat-tour to Potsdam.

On the East side, take a walk at the East-side Gallery / wall. Then from there walk to Boxi (Boxhagener Platz) and enjoy the most vibrant Kiez (neighborhood) of Berlin. You have enough attractions to keep you busy for an afternoon + evening.

There are enough posts online about the Berlin's Nightlife. All of them are correct. Choose wisely and don't forget to go home.
